In a gripping linear experience, players will lead a mobile and mechanized army known as the Africakorps while diving into a great war in Italy to unleash precision plays. The game offers twice as many armies as any past game in the series, comprising two single-player campaigns and four factions - US Forces, British Forces, Wehrmacht, and Deutsches Afrikakorps. The development team also stated the user interface has been adapted for console controllers to ensure the same level of fun as the PC version. Relic Entertainment is bringing a new custom UI and a full tactical pause feature, which will allow players to freeze the action to take a detailed look at the battlefield while planning their strategies.
This version of Company of Heroes 3 is a first for the series, given the beloved RTS franchise will be coming to consoles for the very first time.
Players can pre-order the digital version starting April 25 via the Microsoft Store via the Xbox and PlayStation storefronts.
Publisher Sega and developer Relic Entertainment have announced that Company of Heroes 3 will land on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 30.
